What is the dress-code in the Desire2Learn office?
Desire2Learn offers a casual and relaxed dress environment; shorts and sandals are common in the summer time!
What are the working hours? Is there flexibility?
When you arrive and when you leave each day is flexible. We are a results-oriented workplace which means we expect you to put in the time to complete all projects on time and to the best of your ability. There is never a shortage of work to be done!

What level of experience are you looking for?
We are looking for industry experts and senior managers who can help shape our organization and mentor their fellow employees, and new grads that are looking for an opportunity to make a difference. We welcome people who can bring experience and expertise to our team as well as those who are looking to jump start their careers.
What is the best way to apply to Desire2Learn?
Applying online through our Careers page is best. You are able to apply for multiple positions at one time and hiring managers have direct access to these resumes.
What happens to my resume after applying online?
Your online application will be immediately added to our database to be viewed by the appropriate people. We directly contact all applicants whose qualifications meet our needs for the position. Your application will remain in our database for at least six months and may be considered for positions that come up in the future.
What can I expect throughout the hiring process?
For all our positions, we conduct at least two interviews and potentially an initial phone interview. We always conduct reference checks for all our potential hires as well. Some positions will include assignments and/or quizzes during the hiring process.
What general skills are needed to be successful at Desire2Learn?
We look for people who are passionate about what they do. Our employees need to be self-motivated and show initiative in their work. In order to succeed at Desire2Learn, you will need adaptability, enthusiasm, and drive. A sense of humour wouldn't hurt either!
